This is what Soviet Jews called themselves.

5th Paragraph – Invalids was the registration of nationality on the Soviet identity card.

The government had been practicing long-standing Indirect discrimination against this sector in terms of access to higher education and suitable jobs.

The film presents, through a combination of archive footage and testimonies of immigrants in the 1990s, the enormous gap between what was declared in Soviet propaganda and reality.
